Testosterone Shots

Testosterone shots are commonly mistaken for steroids, but unlike steroids, most testosterone shots are prescribed to offset or eliminate low testosterone symptoms.

Low testosterone symptoms include:

  • Chronic Fatigue
  • Decreased Muscle Mass and/or an Inability to Create New Muscle
  • Erectile Dysfunction
  • Increased Body Fat
  • Decreased Body Hair
  • Increased Cholesterol
  • Depression, Anxiety and Moodiness
  • Low Libido
  • and Many More

If you believe you are suffering from low testosterone, or low T as it’s commonly called, testosterone shots or other hormonal treatments might be right for you. At K3 Neuroscience & Optimized Wellness, we offer a range of low T treatment options and create custom treatment plans for patients across a broad range of ages. If our expert hormone physicians determine that testosterone treatments are right for you, we may include a combination of the following treatment options as part of your recommended treatment plan.

Transdermal Testosterone Cream

Testosterone cream can be custom tailored to the strength needed by each unique patient and is applied topically. An extremely low maintenance means of stabilizing testosterone levels, it is also a relatively short-term solution and must be reapplied daily to keep levels steady throughout the day.

Testosterone Cypionate

Testosterone Cypionate is one of the two types of testosterone shots that we most commonly utilize at K3 Neuroscience & Optimized wellness. Usually administered 1-2x per week, Cypionate is a longer-acting testosterone ester and specially designed to supply a slow release of testosterone over the course of several days.

Testosterone Tri-Blend

The second of the testosterone injections we make available to our patients is the Testosterone Tri-Blend. It contains 3 different testosterone ester compounds, and it’s by combining these esters that the Testosterone Tri-Blend can offer patients both longer and shorter releasing doses.

Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (HCG)

When injected into a patient suffering from low testosterone symptoms, HCG can mimic the body’s natural luteinizing hormone (LH) to jump start natural testosterone production. HCG is also often prescribed in combination with other testosterone therapy replacement treatments as a protective agent against the loss of natural testosterone function or testicular atrophy.

 Anastrozole (Estrogen Blockers)

At times prescribed in conjunction with HRT, Anastrozole is a pill that is ingested orally to prevent the potential elevation of estrogen levels that can sometimes be associated with testosterone therapies.
