Dr. Luders was born in Fukouka, Japan and moved to the United States at the age of 2. He completed his undergraduate degree from Washington University, in St. Louis. He developed an interest in medicine and began his medical studies at the Royal College of Surgeons, in Dublin, Ireland. He was interested in practicing in the United States and completed his medical studies at the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine. During his summers off he did research at the National Institutes of Health where he developed an interest in neurological surgery. After completing medical school he did his residency in Neurological Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.
He has since practiced neurological surgery in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a special interest in complex spine, brain tumors, and surgery for epilepsy. He is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Michigan State University Department of Surgery. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons as well as the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
After practicing reactive medicine for over 10 years he became interested in anti-aging and integrative medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine and has developed a passion for improving an individuals quality and length of life through an anti-aging approach to wellness.
Becky Luders, MSN, NP-C, CNRN, FAARFM, ABAAHP. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed by the State of Michigan to practice medicine. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at Grand Valley State University. More recently, she completed the fellowship in Metabolic, Anti-aging, and Functional Medicine and is certified as a Health Practitioner Diplomate by the American Board of Anti-Aging Health Practitioners.
She has spent the last 15 years caring for patients with neurological diseases including, Parkinson’s disease, Epilepsy and Dementia. After years of treating the symptoms of disease, she became interested in focusing on disease prevention, wellness and integrative medicine in hopes to change the future of chronic disease.
